I had a good night sleep. Really miss those 2-3 days i had with my form class. Wish it was a longer camp. Anyway, our happiness were being captured in the photos and videos. The "Finale" was inside videos whereby I confirm every1 will be eager to burn 1 CD for it. :)
just to add some minor fun or incidents happen during camp. I tricked Evan in asking her to look at 1 direction. I say "Evan, look at that!!!". She looked into that direction and say "Where? What?". Haha, then i say "is water la". i laughed and move on trekking, she was totally tricked by me. Haha, i was a born-naturally actor. :)
Ben/Janice - doing cradle. Sabo by me. :) But both of them super sporting.
Kevin/Chebelle - doing Piggy-back. Both sabo by almost whole class.
Adilson/WenTing, Rawin/Vivian - Walking side-by-side during trekking for most of the time. Noted by her good friends, not me. :)
Adilson/Violet - Kayaking together. Is it a conincidence? Haha
Since the camp was a huge success, I might have a chalet in Mar. Fully paid by the whole class. :) Of cos maybe i sponsor BBQ? C how first. :)

just came back from class camp (24-26 Jan). Enjoy myself throughly. It was the best camp I ever attend. I shall not blog like my student reinterating what happened from 1st to 3rd day. I shall blog the impt and interesting part.
1st day - Possible couples are being "forced" to do learning aid. Ben/Jance, kevin/Chebelle. But Adilson/YeJie? haha, seem weird combination. Then afternoon Kaya was not really successful cos my class at the most kaya in the sea for say 20mins? Scolded some students from nearby school who were burning newspaper and playing w fire. I took photos of their face/crime and threaten to inform their school. As they sound sincere in apologising, I did not sent it to their school the next day. Nighttime - outdoor cooking rice migth be 1st time to all of them. Well, they do not have enough food, i feel sad for them.
2nd day morming hiking, it was fun and tired. I can see soon Hin walked each step with great pain and panting. Very good for him, he perserved to the end. He my best camper of the day. CRC - I was very proud of my students. A lot of them went thr the entire course. Haha, but i yet to try all of them as i wan my students to try first as teachers can always got a chance to do it.
Nighttime, amazing race - super fun for the students. But we slept around 1plus
Last day, really sad for me. cos breaking camp. This year sec 2 camp much enjoyable than Sec 1 camp. Even though there are occasionally as usual scolding for the class. But they knew it was for the good of them. Cos i can really see teamwork and bonding among my students. When Sharifah was asking for volunteers to do this/that, many students would stood up asap to help. Compared to other class, our class is the best in terms of response time and volunterring services. Shall blog again soon

Hmm, today was the saddest day that ever happen to me in my teaching life. :( I hope similar accidents do not happen again.
My student displaced his wrist and was in a cast right now. He got injured while playing in the classroom during lunch time. My chairman tried calling me few times but i was having lesson. Upon hearing the news from her, i quickly ran from staff room to the guard post. I didnt know what happen to my student, i just ran upon hearing that he got into an accident.
Few things flashed in my mind, "pls let nothing happen to him. What really happen?? Is he k?"
I use this accident to educate my students during the CME lesson. I told them not to be mischievious anymore and to learn something out of this episode. A simple shooting at a person using rubber band might lead to blindness or playing when going up/down the stairs might lead to falling down the stairs etc. To my students, they might think is fun to shoot at ppl using rubber band or pushing around in school. I warned them to think of possible consequence if anything goes awry. Some students are still in shock and I had to calm them down during the lesson. From this, I can c the unity of my clas. a lot of them keep sms me to find out how he was or volunteer to do a house visit w me tmr. Good comardarie 2/3. :) I applaud u all.

Is been weeks since I last blog. Finally school reopened on 3 Jan 07. Hmm, first day of school 3 students lied to me. Shall not blog what happen. They have been punished by me. So if you intend to lie to me, good luck to u if I ever find out. Rem what is my class motto? "

2nd day, I used almost 1hr to go through the happy and unhappy fond memories that happened in Sec 1. almost every student I have something to say about them. They laughed when i recounted what happen and for those unhappy incidents, some of them asked me not to mentioned anymore. :) One thing for sure, I will make sure all of u start on a equal footing. I will not care what happen in Sec1. To me, each of u has already grown older by 1 year. more matured. :) One question brighten my day is "Cher, what if we request for u to be our FT in Sec 3?" :) :) Of cos, i do not know if she ask the qn for fun or I am really that great a FT. Haha
Seating ArrangementI accede to some students' request to sit with their "friends" but they promise to work more hard in T1 to show me the results. Rem your promise to me, else no more request from u if u failed to fulfil. I threw in another carrot concerning this. Top 15 students in ticket sales will be allowed to choose who they would like to sit with in whole of Sem 2 regardless of their results. But they got to fulfil the minimum criteria (at least 8/10 or 12/15 tickets sold).
Camp GroupingThere are a few students unhappy abt the Jan camp grouping. But what can i do? Intially I came out with grouping but most of them wanted to choose their own group. So i accede to their request. Then they began to form into their own groups. However, some students are being "left aside" so I got no choice to "slot" them into different group. But they are still unhappy. One point for all to ponder. It is
IMPOSSIBLE to group all into same group. There is only 1 way to make all happy. form into 40 groups. That solve the problem. :)
Few options for all to consider on Mon.
a) Revert back to my original grouping (most students not comfortble)
b) Stick to your chosen grouping (most students should be in favour of this)
c) Draw lots (high chance all of them will protest "violently")
